The series deals with spatial issues as well as the light-induced projections and shadows of objects and shapes. It is experimenting with the sensation of the possible third dimension of the image, which either appears de facto or, just by its lack there of, only appears in the viewer’s mind. It dismantles a visual structure onto spatial elements in such a way that these elements, though they are carrying the original experience of light and space, gain a new quality through the illumination of a certain space. Multi-layered schematic writing highlights the dimension of time, using the symbolism of the palimpsest.
